on the maintenance and inspection of gas appliances.
The regularly inspected appliance is safer and more economical: flue gas analysis and CO2 measurement detect improper combustion, and cleaning prevents malfunctions that could lead to system shutdown during the heating season. Manufacturers typically also make it a condition of the warranty.
Instrumental check for gas network tightness: the test detects leaks at connections and fittings even before they become perceptible. The periodic technical inspection of gas systems is mandated by law and can only be performed by a qualified professional.
If some radiators remain cold or only partially warm up, if the system is noisy, or if cleaning hasn't been done for a long time. The accumulated sludge and rust narrow the flow cross-section, so the boiler has to work harder for the same temperature. It is also recommended before replacing the boiler.
